The College Hill Elementary Cougar Techs are the photographers and reporters of our school. The are responsible for taking class pictures for our web site as well as completing field assignments. Teachers request a team to visit their classroom for a special event or activity. The team then prepares for their visit, takes pictures or video and writes a news report about the event. The team is responsible for inputting their story into a computer format for upload to our web page. The team also act as leaders for our school. They provide help with classes working on integrated project based lessons.
The 2005-2006 Cougar Tech team meets every Tuesday for thirty minutes. They have worked very hard in September getting our laptop mobile lab ready for check out. They have installed printers and an automatic log-on for College Hill Students. The team has also cleaned the computer lab. The kids loved learning to download United Streaming video and insert the video into Power Point!!
Cougar Techs have been busy helping classes in computer lab in October and November. They have also learned how to set up the LCD projectors and Smart Boards. Cougar Techs have taken pictures of the classrooms for our web page.
