2005 Battle of the Books Team

Reading Incentives                              Reading Rocks !!

Meet your reading goal and earn:

·          McDonald’s Rewards

·          Braum’s Rewards

·          Pizza Hut Rewards

Read Accelerated Reader Books and earn free books

·          4th and 5th 20pts= 1 book

·          3rd grade 15pts= 1 book

·          1st-2nd 10pts= 1 book

Each class that reads 250 books as a class will earn a pizza party!

Accelerated Reader

Students read books and take a comprehension test on the computer. Books are available for all reading levels and students can win prizes by earning points.

Reading Is A Magic Trip

Students who reach their monthly reading goal earn a Mc Donalds meal.

Book-It

Students who reach their monthly reading goal earn a personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut.

Battle of the Books

Fourth and Fifth grade students read from a list of 50 books. Teams of four players "battle" by answering questions about the books. The winning school team "battles" against other schools in January and the matches can be seen on cable channel 40.
